In the LP1 manual, it says you can change a tracks settings to be a switched track or not. Is this function accessible in the LoopPad’s commands?
I’m trying to set up a song style looper with my MC8 Pro with track one as the rhythm track. I had a two-section looper working perfectly, but I sorta hacked it together with long strings of LoopPad commands, and this method leaves no more room for utilizing the other tracks.
I’ve been experimenting with the switch-record and switch-play commands, and sometimes it works the way I expect it to and other times it doesn’t. Also couldn’t quite figure out making track groups. Would be great to have some more info, perhaps another video on this topic.
Other than this, it has been pretty much a breeze setting up my LoopPad. I have a 8-track synced looper with effects, and an 8-slot one-shot looper/sampler that I really enjoy using. I bounced off of so many loopers before settling here.
